Conventional CAR-T therapy requires complex and costly processes involving cell extraction and ex vivo expansion. Carus Bio instead delivers CDVs loaded with CAR-mRNA directly into the body, enabling immune cells to express CAR receptors and target cancer cells.

Mechanism

CDVs carrying CAR-mRNA precisely target immune cells such as T cells and macrophages and deliver genetic instructions intracellularly.

The reprogrammed immune cells express CAR receptors and transform into powerful CAR-T or CAR-M cells.
